Our Offerings
Awakening Creativity: Somatic Arts & Intuitive Practices
Our workshops recognize that creativity is not a skill to be learned, but a natural state of being that emerges when we remove obstacles and create the right conditions. By integrating somatic practices with intuitive arts, we heal creative wounds carried from past experiences, restore your connection to inner wisdom that already exists within, and provide safe, supportive environments where exploration happens without judgment. In this sacred container, we celebrate each person's unique creative expression, honoring the diversity of ways that embodied wisdom manifests through movement, art, writing, and intuitive practices.

Writing Workshop:
Poetry and Song of Protest and Witness
Join a small writing group for sharing poems and songs that are growing out of this historical moment in America. Each week, Sharon Darrow will give brief examples of songs and poems written in other such moments across the world and through history, as well as suggest a prompt for writing during the session and for next session. We all have unique voices and together we will give each other strength to exercise our liberty to speak out. The main objective is to express what we think and feel and to understand how others have done so before us. In the session we will share our writing when we feel comfortable to do so, but it is not mandatory. All are welcome, ages 12 and up.
Tuesday 6pm
March 11, 18, 25, and April 1
Cost: Donation to the Somatic Arts Center for use of space ($5-20 suggested).
